Dr. S. Savitha Pillai received her MSc and PhD in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai, India. After the completion of Ph. D, she worked as DST Fast Track fellow at CSIR-NIIST Thiruvananthapuram. Later on, she joined IIRBS, MG University as Research Assistant Professor. Then, she worked as a JSPS Postdoctoral fellow at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan. Presently she is an UGC Assistant Professor under UGC FRP at the Department of Physics of University of Kerala. Her current research areas include Spintronics and Multiferroic Heterostructures.
